Job summary

TC Energy in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a multi-skilled USGO Corrosion/Pipeline/M&R Technician to support the operation and maintenance of natural gas pipelines and facilities. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated work experience in a related industry.
• Experience locating and marking subsurface pipeline infrastructure.
• SWA and safe work practices knowledge.
• LOTO procedures knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic resistivity and potential surveys on pipelines and facilities to determine corrosive areas.
• Check rectifiers and anode structures for efficiency.
• Assist in analyzing troublesome cathodic protection areas and suggest solutions.
• Install interference bonds with other companies.
• Maintain cathodic protection equipment and oversee contractor surveys.
• Participate in PHMSA and regulatory inspections.
• Troubleshoot, operate, and maintain various electrical equipment.
