Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Multiskilled Pipeline & Corrosion Technician to support the operation and maintenance of natural gas facilities around the Sugar Grove, Ohio area. The role requires knowledge of high-pressure natural gas pipelines and cathodic protection systems, with an emphasis on problem solving and safety.

The candidate must reside within 30 miles or 45 minutes of the reporting location to meet emergency response requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated work experience in energy, industrial plant or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark underground facilities per 811.
• Oversee pipeline and utility crossings, coordinating with landowners, contractors, and customers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections of facilities, valves, corrosion protection, and related equipment.
• Assist with leak surveys, pigging operations, and hydrostatic testing.
• Coordinate maintenance and construction activities, including safety reviews and commissioning.
• Support regulatory compliance and data entry in SAP/BlueWorx and related systems.
