Job summary

TC Energy Corp. in Columbus, OH is seeking a multi-skilled USGO Corrosion/Pipeline/M&R Technician to support natural gas pipelines and facilities. You will work with cathodic protection systems, high-pressure pipelines, and associated equipment to ensure safety and reliability.

The role requires problem solving, strong communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Compliance with SWA/LOTO and DOT standards is essential, with potential travel to other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience locating and marking subsurface pipeline infrastructure.
• Knowledge of stop work authority (SWA) and safe work practices.
• Understanding of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and related software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys to determine corrosive areas and record CP system performance.
• Check rectifiers and anode structures for efficiency.
• Assist in analyzing CP areas and recommend solutions.
• Maintain cathodic protection equipment and make repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors during CP construction and inspections.
