Qualifications

• Two years of counseling experience in alcohol and substance abuse settings preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with records requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical substance abuse treatment to clients.
• Conduct assessments using standard tools.
• Develop and monitor individualized service plans with goals.
• Lead therapy groups and educational sessions.
• Assist clients with forming self-help groups and relapse prevention.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality laws and IDOC policies.
