The role focuses on delivering substance abuse programs to clients, conducting assessments, and developing individualized service plans within the correctional setting. Responsibilities include leading treatment groups, promoting self-help participation, maintaining proper documentation, and adhering to confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications

• CADC certification or progress toward CADC within two years.
• Must pass background check and obtain OIG LEIE clearance.
• CPR/First aid certification and Illinois Department of Corrections clearance may be required.
• Master's or bachelor's degree preferred; HS diploma required.
• Strong computer skills and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete client assessments using required tools.
• Develop and update individual service plans with client input.
• Provide daily treatment and curriculum-based groups.
• Support formation of self-help groups (AA/NA).
• Maintain confidential client files and related records.
• Submit weekly client data for WestCare database entry.
• Attend staff training and cross-training sessions.
