Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Records Specialist Supervisor at SCI Albion to lead a team that manages inmate records and supports safety and compliance across the institution.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Corrections Records Specialist or one year as Records Specialist 2, or four years of clerical/correctional custodial experience with two years of specialized records work.

Responsibilities

• Record Oversight: Collect information, review court documents, and ensure accurate updates to inmate records.
• Identification Processing: Interview, photograph, and fingerprint inmates with proper procedures.
• Staff Supervision: Manage work assignments, provide training, and support staff performance.
• Transport Coordination: Arrange inmate transports and verify authorizations for releases and temporary absences.
• Judicial Representation: Represent the Department at hearings and provide testimony related to identity and sentence status.
