Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of VADOC correctional policies, procedures and practices.
• Experience writing reports, policies or procedures.
• Knowledge of inmate classification and reentry processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of the Treatment Department and oversee inmate classification and work assignments at the unit.
• Ensure quality evidence-based programs and services for inmate treatment and reentry needs.
• Serve as Administrative Duty Officer and manage institutional operations on a rotation basis.
• Develop and revise ACA standards folders and Treatment policies/procedures; train staff as needed.
• May supervise Recreation Services or Chaplain Services.
