Job summary

Greensville Correctional Center is seeking an Institutional Program Manager to supervise the Treatment Department and oversee inmate classification, work assignments, and reentry programs.

The role includes serving as Administrative Duty Officer on a rotating basis, ensuring ACA standards compliance, and may supervise Recreation or Chaplain Services staff.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of VADOC policies, reports and policy-writing skills, and prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of VADOC correctional policies, procedures and practices.
• Ability to complete reports and write policies or procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of inmate classification processes and inmate reentry preparation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
• Prior supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee functional supervision of the Treatment Department.
• Oversee inmate classification, work assignment, and reentry programs.
• Serve as Administrative Duty Officer on a rotating basis, managing institutional operations.
• Ensure compliance with ACA Standards.
• May supervise staff in Recreation or Chaplain Services.
