Alpharus Health is seeking a dedicated Peer Recovery Specialist for our Wyoming corrections program in Rawlins. You will support clients in their recovery goals, participate in group sessions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team in a secure, therapeutic setting.

This role requires a High School diploma, experience in substance abuse or criminal justice settings is preferred, and the ability to obtain Wyoming Peer Specialist certification within a year of employment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Substance abuse, correctional, or criminal justice work environment experience is desired.
• Wyoming Peer Specialist Certification or ability to obtain certification within a year of employment.

Mansioni

• Provides support to clients by assisting with treatment goals for recovery through group sessions.
• Serves as a member of the treatment team by monitoring client behavior and reporting observations; contributes to treatment plans and coordination of client interaction events.
• Aids clients in transitioning from incarceration to community by modeling sober living and connecting to resources and support groups.
• Guides clients to comply with program rules; notifies appropriate personnel of non-compliance.
• Documents and maintains records; ensures accuracy and timeliness.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
