Job summary

ABHS is seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist in Laurel Springs, NJ to monitor safety, sobriety, and transportation for clients in various levels of treatment. This is a full-time manual labor position at 1361 Chews Landing Rd, Laurel Springs, NJ.

You will administer urine analysis, drive clients to treatment, complete shift-change reports, and assist with medication and group sessions while maintaining professional boundaries and strong communication with the Direct Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–4 years’ experience in Drug & Alcohol Treatment Facility.
• CPR certification preferred; Narcan training preferred; CPI certification within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily client schedule and ensure participation in treatment activities.
• Transport clients in company vehicle following guidelines and GPS monitoring.
• Administer Urine Analysis and breathalyzer as scheduled; report results to medical.
• Complete shift change reports and assist in group sessions or appointments.
• Maintain professional demeanor and enforce rules with clients as needed.
