Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of clerical experience, including one year in corrections.
• Basic training in Elizabethtown, PA required.
• Must pass background investigation and CJIS compliance.
• Veterans' preference as provided by state law.

Responsibilities

• Inspect items from postal and courier services to identify contraband.
• Retrieve and distribute admissible mail through facility coordination.
• Maintain logs and property records and respond to inmate requests.
• Apply postal and departmental rules to ensure safe mail handling.
• Assist with related duties to promote secure and efficient operations.
