Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of clerical experience, including one year in the field of corrections.

Responsibilities

• Inspect items from postal and courier services to identify and stop contraband
• Retrieve and distribute admissible mail through coordination with facility departments
• Maintain logs and property records and respond to inmate requests
• Apply postal and departmental rules to ensure safe and proper mail handling
• Assist with related duties that promote secure and efficient operations
