Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse for travel assignments across Illinois including Chicago, Quincy and Urbana. The LPN will provide general and emergency nursing care to adults in custody within the Medical and Ambulatory sections, while upholding security standards.

Qualifications include an active LPN license in the applicable state, 1 year corrections experience preferred, CPR if applicable, health certificate, and meeting all regulatory

• Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Provides general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards
