Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work in a Corrections setting in Arlington, VA. You will provide general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory sections of the facility while upholding security standards.

Requirements include an active LPN license for the applicable state, at least one year of corrections experience preferred, CPR if applicable, and current health certificate as per contract or state regulation.

Qualifications

• Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state.
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).

Responsabilités

• Provides general nursing care and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory sections.
• Maintains facility security standards while delivering care.

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close andimmediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basisproviding general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatorysection of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility securitystandards.

• Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in theapplicable state
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
