Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a licensed practical nurse to support corrections healthcare in NC. You will provide general and emergency nursing care for adults and children in custody within Medical and Ambulatory settings, while upholding security standards.

The role requires an active LPN license in the state, CPR if applicable, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Travel assignments are available with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state.
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section.
• Maintain facility security standards.
• Collaborate with custody and medical staff to coordinate care.
