Job summary

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse role with Amergis Healthcare Staffing provides daily general and emergency nursing care to adults and children in custody within a corrections facility, while upholding security standards. The position requires an active LPN license and state compliance.

Qualifications

• Current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state.
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and emergency nursing care to inmates in a Corrections facility.
• Maintain facility security standards while delivering care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and shift teams.
