Job summary

Aramark at Logansport Juvenile Correctional Facility is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates, train staff, and coordinate meal production to meet plans and safety standards. You will ensure sanitation and follow all regulations while maintaining security and efficiency in a correctional kitchen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates or team members.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to preparation and production guidelines and review production logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and adherence to Aramark guidelines.
• Participate in preparation and serving of meals.
• Print and distribute recipes; train on cooking procedures.
