Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen team members inside a correctional facility. You will oversee food prep, serve meals, and ensure menus and recipes meet nutritional standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old.
• Preferred prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes; portion meals to meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking and standing for extended periods.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
