Job summary

Summit, operating under Elior North America, seeks an experienced assistant food service director for the Harford County Detention Center area. You will oversee culinary, safety, sanitation, and overall operations, leading a large team of culinary and service staff to deliver high-quality meals with strong service.

The role requires at least two years in supervision and two years in foodservice, plus proven financial responsibility and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years in a supervisory role.
• Minimum two years of foodservice experience.
• Proven financial responsibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, training, and retaining a large staffing team including chefs, cashiers, baristas, cooks, and catering teams.
