The role requires independent work inside correctional facilities while maintaining quality customer service. Daily data entry, strong telecom and network repair skills, and the ability to interact with facility staff and partners are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in telecommunications including installation, repair, troubleshooting of inmate systems.
• 2 years experience with computer/network installation and repair.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must pass criminal background screens.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, correcting, and servicing issues with inmate technology systems.
• Maintain, repair, and operate onsite telecommunications hardware, networking hardware/software, access points, and wiring.
• Address basic telephone repair and maintenance needs of the facility.
• Meet all service requirements per the customer contract.
• Build and maintain relationships with facility personnel and customer contacts; interface with vendors and contractors.
• Monitor time and control service-related expenses.
• Deliver services timely to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
• Provide onsite instruction and training for site personnel.
