Quality Correctional Care (QCC) is seeking a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse for full-time evening coverage at Delaware County Jail. The role includes administering medications, performing intakes, responding to sick calls, and managing chronic care within a correctional setting.

The position requires CPR certification, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with an every-other-weekend schedule. QCC offers competitive benefits and a mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LPN or RN licensure and CPR certification.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Full-Time evening shift 6 PM–6 AM with every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform medical intakes to assess fitness for incarceration.
• Respond to sick calls and coordinate with the medical provider for follow-up.
• Manage chronic care and provide patient education on health concerns.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving measures as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacology and assist Medically Trained Personnel.
