Job summary

Quality Correctional Care (QCC) is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join the medical team at Johnson County Jail in Indiana. The role involves administering medications, performing intakes, and responding to medical emergencies while ensuring compassionate, compliant care within a correctional setting.

Shifts run 6AM–6PM or 6PM–6AM on a PRN weekend basis, with potential to pick up additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN licensure is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Must stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform medical intakes.
• Respond to sick call requests and follow up with the medical provider.
• Change dressings as required and manage chronic care.
• Provide patient education on health concerns.
• Respond to medical emergencies and take charge as needed.
