Job summary

Quality Correctional Care (QCC) seeks a licensed nurse to join the Delaware County Jail health team. You will administer medications, perform intakes, monitor chronic conditions, and respond to emergencies during the 6 PM–6 AM shift, three nights weekly with every-other weekend.

An active LPN or RN license and CPR certification are required. You will educate patients and support Medically Trained Personnel. QCC offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to stand and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to patients.
• Perform medical intakes and assess fitness for incarceration.
• Respond to sick calls and follow up with medical providers.
• Check and change dressings as required.
• Perform 14-day physicals and manage chronic care.
• Provide patient education on health concerns.
• Respond to medical emergencies and lead in emergencies.
