Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for a correctional facility in Washington County Detention Center, AR. You will coordinate and supervise kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and uphold strict quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on training, sanitation, and ensuring timely meal service with high-quality, scratch-cooked items. Onsite, full-time position with comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Food Handlers certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
