Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Director to oversee a single site jail kitchen, directing staff and managing both operations and finances in a secure facility. The role reports to the District Manager and emphasizes strong leadership, compliance with health and safety codes, and the ability to adapt to changing needs.

The position offers on-site work, career growth, and a pathway to advancing food service operations within a correctional environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of management or supervisory experience in a food service environment.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Basic accounting and mathematical abilities to complete necessary reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served according to facility or site plan.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Review payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
• Ensure all team members are adequately trained to perform job responsibilities safely.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory in advance preparation of planned menu schedule.
• Ensure food items are stored properly.
• Maintain product service quality standards.
• Maintain a sanitary environment following food service and Health Department codes.
• Maintain accurate onsite reports of daily and monthly financial, production, and activity.
• Responsible for inspections of food service operation.
• Other responsibilities as determined by needs.
