Job summary

Summit is seeking a Cook for our Lancaster, WI correctional facility. No experience required – we are willing to train! You will join a fast-paced kitchen team focused on quality meals and safe handling. Training is provided to the right candidate, with emphasis on teamwork and dependable performance.

Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour for 30–32 hours per week, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the Summit network.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a quality/high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and tools and differentiate food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
