Job summary

Trinity Services Group is hiring a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and the kitchen team inside a correctional facility. The role involves preparing and serving meals, training staff, and ensuring food safety and quality in line with menus and recipes.

The position is onsite with a 10:00am–6:00pm shift, including some weekends. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food service, knowledge of food handling regulations, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 21 years old.
• Preferred prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and service shifts.
• Serve food according to planned meal schedules and procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook and portion food per recipes.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for employees and inmates.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for most of the shift.
• Other duties as needed.
