The role requires availability on weekends and holidays, with a $1,000 bonus and opportunities for growth within a security-focused environment. Onsite work and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; must be at least 18 years old.
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen team during food prep and service shifts.
• Serve food according to scheduled meals and department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook and portion meals to meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Physical tasks include lifting, bending, standing for extended periods.
