Job summary

Summit is seeking a detail-oriented Food Service Manager for the Cascade County Detention Center - Food location. You will oversee all functions of the department, lead a team, and ensure compliance with culinary, safety, and sanitation standards.

You will manage budgeting, procure ingredients, and work with district management on dining service operations, while addressing inmate and staff service needs. Strong communication with staff and executives is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills with hourly staff and company executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget for the department, including purchasing ingredients and meeting targets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with district manager or other departments on dining service aspects.
• Address customer service needs.
