Job summary

Summit is seeking a motivated Food Service Director for Cascade County Detention Center - Food in Great Falls, MT. You will lead a team of food service workers and manage all aspects of the department to ensure meals are served on time and to standard.

This is a non-exempt, hourly role. Responsibilities include staffing, hiring, training, enforcing safety and sanitation standards, budgeting, and coordinating with district management.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client satisfaction.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Managing all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Budget for the department and ensure targets are met.
• Coordinate with district management on dining service aspects.
