Summit is seeking a Food Service Director for the Cascade County Detention Center in Great Falls, MT. This full-time, onsite role leads a diverse team and manages all aspects of the food service department, ensuring meals are prepared safely, on time, and within budget.

Ideal candidates have at least two years coordinating food service operations, experience with industrial cooking, strong communication skills with hourly staff and executives, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• At least two years coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• ServSafe and/or HACCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budgeting for the department, including purchasing ingredients and meeting targets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with district manager or other departments on dining service aspects.
• Address customer service needs.
