Job summary

Summit is seeking a motivated food service director for the Corrections team in Great Falls, MT. You will lead a skilled crew in the Cascade County Detention Center - Food, overseeing all aspects of the department and ensuring timely meals.

This non-exempt, hourly role requires coordinating operations, hiring and training staff, maintaining safety standards, budgeting, and collaborating with district management to meet targets.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and company executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Managing all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates, including hiring and development.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget for the department and manage ingredient purchases to meet targets.
• Coordinate with district manager on dining service technical and administrative aspects.
