Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking a Corps Ministries Program Coordinator for the Lawn Corps. You will lead staff and volunteers, manage programming and events, and coordinate communications with corps leadership.

Job requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of program coordination experience, and bilingual English/Spanish fluency. The role is on-site and involves community outreach and youth programming.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
Two years experience coordinating programs, events or outreach.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, virtual platforms and social media.
Bilingual English/Spanish required for outreach and communications.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to staff, volunteers and program participants when officers are unavailable.
Record monthly statistics and manage cash/dues for programs.
Develop materials and communications for corps programming and events.
Coordinate budget needs and promote events via social media and signage.
Support training, scheduling, and outreach activities across programs.
