Rate is a leading retail mortgage lender based in Chicago, providing a tech-driven experience. We seek a Travel Agent Coordinator to manage corporate travel, from flights to lodging, ensuring cost-effective, compliant itineraries for client teams.

You will coordinate with multiple vendors, advise on visa requirements, and handle emergencies with speed and professionalism while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in corporate travel management or a similar role is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of travel regulations and international travel procedures.
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and accommodate last-minute requests.

Responsibilities

• Booking travel arrangements: research and book flights, hotels, cars, and other transportation for corporate clients.
• Providing travel consultation: guidance on options, itineraries, visas, restrictions, and company policies.
• Managing travel logistics: scheduling, ticketing, itinerary prep, confirmations, changes, and cancellations.
• Handling travel emergencies: respond to disruptions and arrange alternatives promptly.
• Customer service: address inquiries and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Expense management: track expenses, process invoices, and reconcile transactions.
• Staying updated on travel trends, regulations, and destinations.
