Job summary

Guaranteed Rate, Inc. seeks a Travel Agent Coordinator to manage corporate travel for clients from our Chicago office. You will research and book flights, hotels, and transportation, using Amadeus GDS to secure cost-effective solutions while negotiating rates with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in corporate travel management.
• Proficiency with Amadeus GDS travel platform.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and vendors.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of travel regulations and international travel procedures.
• Ability to work outside regular hours for last-minute requests.

Responsibilities

• Research and book flights, hotels, rental cars, and other transportation in line with corporate client travel requirements.
• Use Amadeus GDS and other online booking systems to secure cost‑effective travel solutions and negotiate rates with suppliers.
• Provide travel consultation, advising clients on itineraries, visa requirements, travel restrictions, and other pertinent information while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate all aspects of travel logistics, including scheduling, ticketing, itinerary preparation, and confirmation of reservations.
• Handle changes, cancellations, and travel emergencies—such as flight delays or lost luggage—by offering prompt assistance and alternate arrangements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues to maintain high client satisfaction.
• Track and record travel expenses, process invoices, and reconcile transactions in line with company policies.
• Stay updated on travel trends, industry developments, regulatory changes, and destination information.
