Job summary

The Campbell House Lexington, part of HVMG, seeks a Business Transient Sales Manager to grow corporate transient revenue by developing relationships with business travel clients, travel managers, and key accounts in Lexington. You will prospect for new business, respond to RFPs, negotiate contracts, and communicate client expectations to the hotel team.

Join a team oriented toward maximizing occupancy and rate while collaborating with sales and revenue professionals across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Hotel/hospitality sales experience is preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with business travelers and clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build excellent relationships with business travelers, travel managers, third parties, and community organizations to generate hotel business.
• Prospect for new business, respond to RFPs and inquiries, execute contracts, and convey client expectations to the hotel team.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales and the revenue teams to maximize occupancy and rate.
• Learn the full hotel sales discipline and grow into larger market segments or national roles.
