Job summary

AV is hiring a Social Media Specialist to lead day-to-day execution across the company’s social channels. You will publish, repost, engage, and identify opportunities to elevate content in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with PR, marketing, executives and business teams to develop content calendars, draft platform-specific posts, and amplify company news and thought leadership across channels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in social media, digital communications or related work.
• Experience managing corporate social media channels with publishing, engagement, monitoring and analytics.
• Strong editorial judgement and ability to decide when to publish, engage, amplify, or elevate.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, government or national security communications.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day management of AV’s social channels including publishing and engagement.
• Develop and maintain the social content calendar with cross-functional teams.
• Draft platform-specific content reflecting AV’s voice and priorities.
• Track performance and use analytics to improve content and growth.
• Support live coverage at events and executive social presence.
