Job summary

Edelman is seeking an account executive level Social Media Manager to join a growing team of community experts who develop, execute, and support social media strategies for our clients. You will be the brand’s eyes, ears and tone on social across multiple channels.

You will stay ahead of real‑time trends, partner with cross‑functional teams on content ideation, draft copy, and manage social posts while analyzing performance.

Qualifications

• At least two years of work experience in digital, community management, or social media.
• Strong grasp of core social media platforms and their formats.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication.
• Understanding of monitoring social conversations for insights.

Responsibilities

• Engage with audiences across Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, YouTube, and other social channels.
• Exemplify the brand voice and tone in all community interactions.
• Proactively flag emerging trends and opportunities for the brand and elevate issues in a timely manner.
• Draft copy and support content ideation for owned social content.
• Work with internal and client teams on brainstorms and agile social moments.
• Maintain, organize, and improve documentation across content and engagements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to provide learnings and recommendations based on community insight, social listening, and data.
• Stay up to date on emerging creators, trends and formats, and platform updates.
