Who are we looking for?

Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Global Corporate Sales Director to join our Global Sales team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for growing business with large corporate accounts. Oversee a ~$20-30M portfolio of ~25 accounts, focusing on achieving a minimum revenue growth of 20-25% annually, primarily through increased share of wallet from current accounts, and secondarily through acquiring new large strategic accounts not currently in the portfolio.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Strengthen relationships with key customers and uncover additional opportunities within those accounts to increase penetration.
  2. Understand the competitive landscape and Choice’s position within it, implementing tactics to shift share.
  3. Develop strong relationships with Corporate Travel Managers and Procurement teams.
  4. Maintain deep knowledge of end travelers at respective corporate accounts and create tailored offers to meet their needs.
  5. Negotiate effectively, demonstrating mutual value in lengthy and complex negotiations.
  6. Negotiate on dimensions other than price.
  7. Understand customers’ purchasing processes and success criteria, tailoring offerings accordingly.
  8. Create and deliver compelling customer presentations to demonstrate the value proposition of Choice.
  9. Delegate and channel customer service issues appropriately within Choice, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
  • BA/BS degree required; advanced business degree preferred.
  • Proven success in B2B sales, preferably with large companies or industry-related experience.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Your Work Location

This role is remote-based, working from your home, with virtual connectivity via Zoom and periodic in-person travel to our offices in North Bethesda, MD or Scottsdale, AZ. Frequent nationwide travel (up to 50%) will be required for events, visits, etc. We support flexible work arrangements and ongoing communication with leadership.

Salary Range

The annual salary range is $102,345 to $124,207, plus commission via our Global Sales Incentive Plan. Compensation may vary based on factors like education, experience, location, and performance. We also offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid leave, retirement plans, employee recognition, and hotel discounts.
