Job description

Who are we looking for?

Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity for our Global Corporate Sales Director to join our Global Sales team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for growing business with large corporate accounts. You will oversee a portfolio of approximately $20-30M across 25 accounts, aiming for a minimum annual revenue growth of 20-25%, primarily through increased share of wallet from existing accounts and secondarily through acquiring new strategic accounts.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Strengthen relationships with key customers and uncover additional opportunities to increase penetration.
  2. Understand the competitive landscape and Choice’s position within it, implementing tactics to shift share.
  3. Develop strong relationships with Corporate Travel Managers and Procurement teams.
  4. Maintain in-depth knowledge of end travelers at respective corporate accounts and create tailored offers.
  5. Demonstrate mutual value in lengthy and complex negotiations.
  6. Negotiate on dimensions beyond price.
  7. Understand customers’ purchasing processes and tailor offerings accordingly.
  8. Create and deliver compelling presentations demonstrating the value proposition of Choice.
  9. Delegate and coordinate customer service issues within relevant teams to ensure satisfactory resolution.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
  1. BA/BS degree required; advanced business degree preferred.
  2. Proven success in B2B sales, preferably with large companies or relevant industry experience.

  4. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Your Work Location

This position is remote, with virtual connectivity via Zoom, and periodic in-person travel to our offices in North Bethesda, MD, or Scottsdale, AZ, as well as nationwide travel for events and visits.

Salary Range

The annual salary range is $102,345 to $124,207 plus commission through the Global Sales Incentive Plan. Compensation will depend on various factors including experience, education, and performance.
