Corporate Recruiter (Kansas City, MO)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a professional recruiter to carry out candidate sourcing, phone screens, and interviews. You will be responsible for filling internal roles for Raymond Central across 8 states.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Work directly with hiring managers to understand and define job requirements and competencies for all open positions.
  2. Coordinate with colleges, trade schools, military installations, and labor departments for job postings, presentations, and interviews.
  3. Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies using cold calling, direct sourcing, database mining, social media, referrals, advertising, and networking.
  4. Collaborate with external recruiting agencies to ensure quality service and accurate reporting.
  5. Provide potential applicants with information about company culture, facilities, benefits, and opportunities.
  6. Interview applicants to gather work history, education, training, skills, and salary requirements.
  7. Assess applicants’ skills and personality fit for the role.
  8. Screen and refer qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  9. Conduct reference and background checks.
  10. Communicate employment considerations to applicants.
  11. Maintain applicant records via Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and report on recruiting metrics.
  12. Manage onboarding processes and follow-up with new hires, recording notes from interactions.
Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

- Experience in full lifecycle recruitment within the material handling or related industry.

- Experience recruiting maintenance technicians or similar roles.

- Proficiency with LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruitment tools.

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum Qualifications:

- At least 2 years of full lifecycle recruitment experience in a professional setting.

- Associate’s degree.
