Job description

Lateral Link is assisting a repeat client and top-ranked Am Law 25 firm in seeking an M&A associate with 2–6 years of experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience advising private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and strategic clients on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, add-on acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex corporate transactions. Experience across the transaction lifecycle, including drafting and negotiating principal transaction documents and managing deal execution, is preferred.

This is a sophisticated, broad-based M&A practice with meaningful cross-office collaboration and substantial client exposure for associates. The firm is known for its strong culture, significant associate mentoring, and optimal long-term partnership and in-house prospects.

Compensation is at the top of the market, with signing bonus potential. Large law or top-ranked midsize firm experience strongly preferred.
