Job summary

National 4-H Council seeks a Development Manager to steward a $1–4 million annual corporate/foundation portfolio and grow revenue through tailored proposals, activation plans, and impact reporting.

You will coordinate donor deliverables, manage timelines, and ensure alignment across internal teams while growing partnerships that advance 4‑H nationwide. This role supports a national program with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, nonprofit management or related field.
• 3–5 years dealing with high-level donor representatives or similar relationships.
• 1–3 years in corporate/foundation fundraising and donor stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Steward annual portfolio of corporate and foundation partners to renew and grow revenue.
• Develop customized proposals, activation strategies, and impact reports.
• Coordinate donor deliverables, legal reviews, and project timelines.
• Maintain donor activity in the CRM and track outcomes.
• Identify renewals and opportunities to increase partnership revenue.
• Collaborate with Development and Marketing teams on grant implementation.
