Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Corporate Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across our portfolio. This hands-on leader will drive innovation, mentorship, and profitability while maintaining brand standards and guest satisfaction.

The role requires regular travel to properties and reporting to the VP of Food & Beverage. Based in our corporate offices, this position oversees culinary teams across restaurants, banquets, and catering, with a focus on people development and operational

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience as Executive Chef or similar in high-volume operations.
• Experience leading multi-unit hotel/resort culinary operations.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to read P&L and drive cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary teams across restaurants, banquets, and catering operations.
• Develop and implement innovative menus to enhance sales and profit.
• Set standards for food quality, presentation, and sanitation.
• Oversee budgeting guidelines and staffing models; optimize costs.
• Collaborate with corporate and property F&B teams to align with brand standards.
• Travel to properties regularly to inspect kitchens and operations.
• Recruit, train, and develop culinary staff; plan succession for talent pipeline.
