Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in investment banking, top tier management consulting, corporate development, strategic finance, private equity, or venture capital.
• Proven end-to-end M&A or strategic investment transaction experience.
• BA/BS degree with deep interest in crypto, blockchain tech, and digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments, including sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence coordination, and integration planning in partnership with senior team members.
• Conduct market research and synthesize findings into strategic recommendations that shape company and product direction.
• Develop competitive intelligence on key players, analyzing strengths/weaknesses and translating insights into actionable implications for Coinbase.
• Partner with senior team members to cultivate cross-functional relationships with executives and drive high-priority strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with startups, investors, and industry participants to surface new opportunities and stay ahead of market developments.
• Strengthen Corporate Development team operations by enhancing existing processes and contributing to recruiting and developing new team members.
