Job summary

Acquisition.com is seeking a Corporate Counsel to serve as the day-to-day legal resource for the organization, partnering closely with the General Counsel. This hands-on role handles commercial contracts, privacy, and compliance, coordinating with paralegals and legal ops to keep intake and documents moving.

The position requires 3+ years in-house or equivalent experience and strong regulatory savvy. Remote from the USA with some travel to Las Vegas as needed; competitive base salary and bonus

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar membership in good standing.
• 3+ years of relevant experience, including in-house at a high-growth company.
• Hands-on with FTC Act Section 5, advertising compliance, GDPR, CCPA, and TCPA preferred.
• Experience directing paralegal or legal operations staff.
• Uses AI and automation first while knowing when human review is required.

Responsibilities

• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates vendor contracts, NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs across the business.
• Manages a mixed docket, prioritizes tasks, and keeps intake and contracts moving.
• Owns day-to-day privacy, data protection, and information security questions.
• Supports GC on investment documents, diligence, and outside counsel coordination.
• Serves as a fast, business-friendly legal partner across internal teams.
