Job Description

We seek a versatile individual to manage our financial functions, oversee HR, and source/manage vendors. Initially an individual contributor, there is potential to build a team as the company grows.

Finance: Manage full-stack accounting, including monthly/quarterly closes, financial statements, investor reports, budgets, and projections.

Human Resources: Oversee onboarding, benefits, payroll, compliance across states, and improve workplace culture through events and office management.

Vendor Management: Handle vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and resolve disputes.

Ideal candidates are proactive, autonomous, and comfortable with multitasking across various company functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own GAAP accounting, monthly/quarterly closes using QuickBooks, Excel, MySQL.
• Track expenses and revenue, model SaaS revenue recognition.
• Prepare financial statements and KPI reports.
• Create and maintain budgets and projections.
• Communicate with stakeholders via reports and presentations.
• Enhance workplace culture through events and office management.
• Manage HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, compliance.
• Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate terms.
• Develop scalable processes for efficiency and success.
• Manage corporate insurance.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in finance, preferably in SaaS, with strong GAAP knowledge.
• Organized, process-driven, and capable of creating scalable workflows.
• Expertise in QuickBooks and Excel; familiarity with MySQL, Salesforce is a plus.
• Analytical, ownership-driven, and detail-oriented.
• Experience in fast-paced tech startups is preferred.
