HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Corporate Business Operations Project Manager to support the operating rhythm, cross-functional coordination, and operational effectiveness of a fast-moving engineering and program organization.

The role requires working across program coordination, governance, reporting, and process improvement to help leadership run a more structured and transparent organization. Onsite in Foster City, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business, project management, or related discipline.
• 6+ years in corporate business operations, chief-of-staff-adjacent or project/program management.
• Strong organizational and project management skills managing multiple workstreams.
• Experience building or improving processes in ambiguous environments.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint/Google Slides, Excel/Sheets, and project trackers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for leadership audiences.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, PM, finance and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recurring operating cadences and governance forums, track decisions and follow-ups.
• Prepare leadership decks, dashboards, status reports, and synthesized material.
• Develop and refine lightweight governance processes for cross-functional decisions.
• Maintain resource management tools, trackers, and reporting for visibility into priorities.
• Develop process documentation and implement practical improvements to workflows.
• Draft clear communications for stakeholders at varying seniority levels.

Expected compensation: 64.49 USD Per Hour

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Corporate Business Operations Project Manager to support the operating rhythm, cross-functional coordination, and operational effectiveness of a fast-moving engineering and program organization.

In this role, you’ll work across program coordination, resource management, operational governance, reporting, and process improvement to help leadership run a more structured and transparent organization. You’ll partner closely with engineering, program management, finance, and other cross-functional teams to keep priorities visible, decisions documented, and key initiatives moving forward.

The ideal candidate is an experienced business operations professional who is comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure where processes are still evolving. You can move fluidly between high-level governance and detailed operational execution, manage multiple priorities, and translate complex cross-functional information into clear, actionable updates for leadership.

As a Corporate Business Operations Project Manager, You’ll

• Coordinate recurring operating cadences, including operational reviews and governance forums, while tracking decisions, action items, and follow-ups through completion.
• Prepare and maintain leadership-facing decks, dashboards, status reports, and other materials that synthesize input from multiple functional owners.
• Develop and refine lightweight governance processes that support cross-functional decision-making, prioritization, and escalation.
• Maintain and improve resource management tools, trackers, and reporting that provide visibility into organizational priorities and operations.
• Develop and maintain process documentation while identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical improvements to operational workflows.
• Draft clear, professional communications, including updates, memos, and meeting notes, for stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business, project management, or a related discipline
• 6+ years of experience in corporate business operations, chief of staff-adjacent roles, project or program management, or a similar operations function
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience building or improving operational processes and structure within ambiguous or evolving environments
• Proficiency with productivity, reporting, and project management tools, including PowerPoint or Google Slides, Excel or Google Sheets, and project trackers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials and synthesizing information for leadership audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, program management, finance, and other stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• An MBA
• PMP certification
• Consulting experience
• Experience in a hardware, robotics, automotive, or other engineering-driven environment
• Experience developing governance cadences or cross-functional operating rhythms
