HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Technical Program Manager, Manufacturing Engineering to drive manufacturing initiatives and support scaling of autonomous vehicle production from validation through launch and start of production. Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing operations, engineering, program management, or related field.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing environments such as automotive, aerospace, robotics, or other complex hardware industries.
• Strong understanding of integration between manufacturing and logistics, quality, design engineering, procurement, and operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional technical programs and driving initiatives to milestones.
• Strong relationship-building skills with engineers, senior leaders, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor communications to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate corporate strategies and milestones into detailed manufacturing roadmaps, timelines, deliverables, and execution plans.
• Partner with engineering teams and suppliers to define and coordinate vehicle and manufacturing validation plans, including partial and full crash builds.
• Lead manufacturing strategies, assessments, and studies and coordinate launch readiness and start-of-production activities.
• Support vehicle assembly and testing operations by driving cross-functional alignment and identifying risks and blockers.
• Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, finance, and other teams to define and track resource requirements and key program decisions.
• Establish operating processes, meetings, and cadences that maintain alignment and provide clear visibility into deliverables and status.

Expected compensation: 92.44 USD Per Hour

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Technical Program Manager, Manufacturing Engineering to drive manufacturing initiatives and support the scaling of autonomous vehicle production from validation through launch and start of production.

In this role, you’ll serve as a cross-functional bridge across manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and operational teams, translating strategic milestones into executable plans. You’ll lead manufacturing strategies and assessments, coordinate vehicle and manufacturing validation activities, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate is an experienced technical program manager with a strong background in industrial manufacturing and complex hardware programs. You understand how engineering, manufacturing, validation, supply chain, and operational dependencies come together to support production readiness and can drive complex cross-functional initiatives while maintaining visibility into milestones, resources, risks, and decisions.

As a Technical Program Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, You'll

• Translate corporate strategies and milestones into detailed manufacturing roadmaps, timelines, deliverables, and execution plans.

• Partner across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, finance, and other teams to define and track resource requirements and drive key program decisions.
• Establish effective operating processes, meetings, and communication cadences that maintain alignment and provide clear visibility into deliverables, dependencies, risks, and program status.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, engineering, program management, or a related field
• Experience working in industrial manufacturing environments such as automotive, aerospace, robotics, or other complex hardware industries
• Strong understanding of the integration between manufacturing and related functions such as logistics, quality, design engineering, procurement, and operations
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional technical programs and driving initiatives through key milestones
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, senior leaders, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and tailor communications to different audiences
• Ability to maintain a big-picture program perspective while managing detailed execution, dependencies, risks, and competing priorities
• Ability to manage confidential information appropriately

Bonus Qualification

• Experience coordinating vehicle or manufacturing validation activities, such as crash builds, with external partners or suppliers
• Experience supporting the launch and scaling of volume production
