Job summary

HireArt is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager - Product Software (Fleet Orchestration) in Foster City, CA. You will own the roadmap for software systems ensuring autonomous vehicles are in the right place at the right time.

You’ll partner with Engineering, Science, TPM and front-end PMs to translate complex needs into prioritized requirements and measurable outcomes. This is a full-time, hybrid onsite role for local candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of product management experience.
• 2+ years of product management experience with complex backend software.
• Experience driving collaboration and outcomes through influence rather than authority.
• Direct experience with product lifecycle management.
• Technical background with the ability to understand software development, backend systems, web applications, APIs, and technical tradeoffs.

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Senior Technical Product Manager - Product Software (Fleet Orchestration) to prioritize and deliver roadmap initiatives that drive key service and efficiency metrics.

In this role, you'll own the roadmap for software systems that help ensure autonomous vehicles are in the right place at the right time. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Science, Technical Program Management, and front-end Product Management teams to translate complex operational needs into prioritized product requirements.

The ideal candidate is a technically fluent product leader with experience managing complex backend software products throughout its lifecycle. You're comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing cross-functional teams, and translating technical concepts and tradeoffs into clear product priorities.

As a Senior Technical Product Manager - Product Software (Fleet Orchestration), you'll:

• Help define the systems that ensure autonomous vehicles are in the right place at the right time.
• Steward a software product line and curate its roadmap.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Science, Technical Program Managers, and front-end Product Managers to refine and prioritize features and requirements.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience stewarding products throughout their lifecycle in a relevant space such as rideshare, supply chain, or inventory management
• Experience in product management for science teams, such as operations research
• Experience developing and executing long-term plans spanning 1-3 years in ambiguous spaces
• Ability to thrive in a growing, complex organization
• Ability to deconstruct and clearly communicate complex ideas and concepts
